cholesterol levels

I am diagnosed as having 6.2 cholesterol level eat porrige / soya milk daily. fruit and veg. Do some junkfood at lunchtime though! 5ft / 8stone6 so not overweight Ideas to bring it down with out pills... is more excerise.needed

Nothing eslse is recorded as a problem (early 50's)

Sometimes it's just hereditary, so will naturally be higher.

You could try products containing plant sterols, like Benecol, which have been proven to reduce Cholesterol. Cardiovascular exercise is supposed to help too. I do quite a bit, but mine has never gone down.
