What does it it mean when the haemoglobin levels are low after breast cancer that has spread?

Haemoglobin in red blood cells is used to transport oxygen around the body and when the levels are low you may feel lethargic and dizzy - your doctor is likely to prescribe a course of iron tablets, but in more severe forms sometimes blood transfusion is required.
