missed period not pregnant

i was due to have my period on friday just gone but i still havent had it.i am taking the combined pill so shouldnt be pregnant.i have done a test just to be safe and its negative.could this be down to stress as i have a lot going on at the min and i worry a lot?
is it worth doing another test just to be sure?
any advice welcome

it hasn't been long since your period was due, so i wouldn't panic just yet. it could be a number of things, especially stress if you have a lot on like you say. the test could say you weren't pregnant if you are - when did you do the test? i'd leave at least a few days between that one and another one. i wish my periods would come back, i was on the depo provera injection and stopped having it over 8 months ago and still no sign :(

thanks for your quick reply:-D.i dont feel any different tearful or tender boobs etc.i did the test this morning.i will wait a few days do another.tha last thing i want is a baby at the moment so i am hoping its cos of stress
