Having all your teeth extracted ....
22 Answers
Has anyone had all their teeth out? I am taking my brother to hospital tomorrow morning, to have all his teeth out, and I wonder if I will be at the hospital with him all day ... obviously complications could happen ??? but assuming all goes well, anyone any idea how long it will be before he is discharged?
Thanks folks!

Chappie's just given the type of example I meant. If her brother hadnt've had his teeth removedm the resulting infection might've spread round his body and caused further complications.

I wouldn't of thought your brother would have any more problems with his teeth (it would be alarming if he did!) however he may have problems with his mouth (hopefully not though)
- A word of warning however to anyone who believes that full-full dentures are a good alternative to natural teeth, they are not and NEVER will be (even if implant retained!)
- a natural tooth has its own neurovascular supply, a ligament, specialised (alveolar) bone and soft tissues to support it, it is capable of propricoeption (and sadly noxious stimuli) it is the single hardest substance in the body and the outer layer requires diamond tipped or tungsten carbide in a high speed air driven motor to cut through it
A denture is a piece of plastic! (or other such man made compounds)
