Hi there, sorry to hear its causing you problems, I had a mirena coil fitted a few years back and found it incredibly painful being put in but the pains soon stopped and I was ok for a few weeks. This may not be the case with you so do not panic but my coil moved up into my womb giving my bad pains a few weeks after it was fitted.
Go back to whoever put it in and get them to check its positioning if you cant find the end of the wires as this is why I went back as I just could not feel them.
The best way to find them is to position yourself with one leg up on the toilet seat and to insert two fingers as far in as you can with the tips of your fingers you should just be able to find the ends of the wires they are easy to find as they are obvious sharp ends amongst the soft flesh. It takes a few attempts to get it right but once you have found them you should check them every now and then.
But like I said if you have no luck finding the wires then go back to your GP or clinic to get them to take a look.
Good Luck x x
an ex-girlfriend of mine had a similar experience to you and she had to have it taken out in the end as her body was not happy about it I guess. Perhaps it's best to go and seek medical advice from your doctor or whoever fitted it.
