then cut some cr@p out of your diet and cut down on whatever you eat/drink to excess.
eat atkins style, more protein and cut out carbs

sara ok maybe they can build muscle but i dont think can burn fat?
no, it won't burn fat but your belly will become more toned, and if you're cutting down on naughty stuff the results could be quite impressive.
Building muscle will in turn burn more bodyfat. The more lean muscle you have, the more bodyfat will be used as fuel.
P.S you cannot spot reduce fat from any area of your body. It will go from where it want's to go. Most people keep fat stores around their mid section, hips or thighs and these areas are usually the last places to go, if they go at all.
Could you manage on stir-frys/kedgerees, fruit, cheese & nuts only for a month? Nowt else.....will make the pounds drop off!

Carbs are replaced by rice, protein from stir-frys with chicken.
