Boils on my face

I've suffered from boils (a form of acne) since i was a teenager. i get one unsightly boil and it ruins my self confidence for about 2 weeks until it's gone. my doc has perscribed most medicines. has anyone here suffered from boils but received treatment with good results?

Hi, it is important to take a swab the next time you get a boil and ask the doctor to send a swab for culture and sensitivity. This will show the causative organism and the antibiotic that it is sensitive too. Then a sustained course of the appropriate antibiotic would do the trick.
