Not sleeping well/aches and pains
5 Answers
Hello,
i'm a 45yr old female.
struggling to sleep well, i can fall off to sleep easily, but after 3 to 4 hours i'm awake, i can't get back off to sleep until half an hour or so before i need to get up. my joints ache quite painfully sometimes, shoulders, hips, knees, wrists etc.. this gets easier after about an hour.
does anyone else have similar experience and what helps you ?
or does anyone know what it is and treatment/do's and don'ts ?
please and thankyou (knackered and grouchy GB)

I am arthritic and suffer as you do, and it is quite common for arthritis sufferers to experience pain and stiffness in joints which can keep you awake and then get better once you have been up for an hour or so. I can hardly walk when I get up in the morning and take a while to get going.
However, I would go to the doctors and discuss this and get some checks done.
