breast screen test

today i have been for a breast test , for the third over the years , and it is so painful ,for me , when i ask my friends they say its no problem for them , but my boobs feel as if they have been clamped , i have gone down the size thing , but dont think its right ,

It's true that very often, by the time any lumps or abnormalities show up, the disease is often well in progress, but my friend felt a lump in her breast. her doctor disputed it, saying he thought it was just "fatty tissue". She was invired to go along for a scan, went, and is now very glad that she did. She's doing well after her op, and atm, there are no signs that anything's returned.

I have to say I'm glad for the screening system.
I'm 30 but now on a regular screening programmes for both breasts and bowels because of previous things they found on scans.
They might not be pleasant but I'd be grateful for any heads up I get which may potentially make a big difference to my health in the future.

P.S. I know it's a very necessary procedure, but I never look forward to having it done! The nurses hands are always so cold, as are the plates your bazoomas are squashed into!
