Yes, it will. Are you in a position to tackle what's keeping you awake?

yes i'm getting help from my doctor, short script of sleeping pills which i start tonight. Lots of stress concerning my seperation/kids but i have had a number of positive meetings with lawyers. I feel i've turned a corner so am happier.
Bless, I remember that all too well and my skin suffered for the lack of sleep.

Since you're on your way to getting sorted, how about taking advantage of all the sales and getting YOURSELF various goodies and pamper yourself for an evening?

Switch off the TV and laptop, get some relaxing music on (my friend listens to Monks chanting, personally, I listen to chilled out versions of current music LOL). Get a face mask, cucumber slices for your peepers. Slather your body in that mud stuff (you skin will be soften than a baby's bum), manicure and pedicure and not forgetting.......the choccy and wine :o) x

cant do all of those things tonight but will be having a relaxn bath with choccys! Thank you LAkitu x
I know it might sound gross but gel for piles can also take down the swelling of puffy eyes.

Have you tried anything like Kalms tablets so at least any rest you get is a bit more refreshing?

I find a nice sweet milky drink before bed is good with a little bit of chocolate if I can't sleep and don't stress about sleeping, try and concentrate on relaxing and thinking of nice things instead (visualisation is good, physically shoving the crap away and replacing it with something nice).

Hopefully sleep will creep in occasionally as your body takes over but if not, at least you will get some rest to keep your body going.
I read a while back that you need a week of early nights/good nights sleep to make up for one late night!
Some researh has sugested that hours slept before midnight are "better" sleep than hours after.

So if you need to "catch up" sleep it is better to try and go to bed early thanto lie in.. Before Midnight slee will refresh you, lie ins make you feel dozy and dull.
