Does anyone know if the NHS provide a dental service for the elderly, where they will visit them at home and provide treatment?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.yes they do. not all treatment can be done in the home though, for saftey reasons, so if AT ALL possible for pt to get to the dentist they prefer that. They have "community dental clinics" for people who would otherwise have difficulty visiting a dentist, and as i said, as a last resort, a dentist can come out. To find out where the one is in your area you need to call the local Patient advice and Liaison service of your PCT (NOT your local hospital) it will either be on the pct website or in the phone book
