Do I need to worry

When blowing my nose the mucus from my left nostril is streaked with blood, the right one is OK.
I am not one for troubling the doctor without reason, but should I see him about this, or is it nothing to worry about.

Nothing at all to worry about - the lining of the inside of your nose is quite thin and easily scratched.

Almost certainly the two answers are quite correct, but if this doesn't settle within the next mont or so, or it increases in amount, then medical investigation would be necessary.

Gelda...I am glad that I have this opportunity to put something right which has been worrying me for weeks. I gave a totally insensitive answer to a question and you quite rightly called me to task. Please accept my apology and hope all goes well with your own particular problem.
