Hi,

My girlfriend is visting from the US on a visitors visa. She is very poorly at the minute and i was thinking of taking her to my GP. Will I be able to take her and pay for the consultation etc? I don't know what to do for her.

1) Private consultation
2) Fill in "visitors" form and get consultation free.

t register as a patient, you have to be in this country for a "legal and settled purpose" However, ANYONE can get what is known as an "immediate and necessary appointment" at any gp. Ring and ask for one
