Telogen Effluvium (hair shedding). Any other sufferers?

I have had a form of alopecia called Telogen Effluvium (sort of hair thinning) for nearly 2 years. It's not as bad now as it was in the beginning, and I wouldn't consider myself a vain person, but I'd like it to end.
Has anyone out there also experienced it? Did anyone find any treatment to stop it? Thx.
