iron tablets

i have started a course of iron tablets to help with my tiredness,but was wondering how long they take to kick in !!

I was also on them recently and would say I felt alot better after about two weeks.

How do you know that you are iron deficient?

If you are not then, they wont "kick in" at all and your tiredness will continue until a diagnosis is established.

If you have had a blood test and indeed you are iron deficient, then it will depend upon how anaemic you were.
