Get down the gym and tone up a bit - or - for a cheaper method, get yourself a bike and cycle for a few miles every day. When I was pregnant, my thighs got too big for my liking, because in the usual way I have no fat at all on them. I was advised to cycle regularly. I religiously did 8 miles a day, up hill and down dale, and after 6 weeks there was no sign of any flab. Give it a go!

Sounds like you're a classic pear shape jadey , not much you can do will make your bottom half to match your top , you may find in dieting that you just lose off the top . With good diet and excercise you will get to your optimum size with perseverance . Don't rush into a crash diet , this is not healthy and indeed may cause your body to lay down more fat for stores . You won't lose lots of weight by not eating. Your body will go into survival mode and store anything it can if its not getting the proper nutrients it needs.

You need to look at your lifestyle not just your diet. Take more exercise (running is one of the quickest way's to burn calories)
Eat less calories (but don't eat less) and burn more calories, is the only and proper way to lose weight and keep it off.
