Is it possible to get hyperthermic when the temperature is around 75f. My mother insists that she can become hyperthernic if she is \'feeling\' cold in spite of the air temperature. Can anyone clarify this for me?

She will only be hypothermic if her body temp is below 35c.Feeling cold is irrelevant, she must actually have a low body temperature measured with an accurate thermometer.Severe hypothermia is classed as body temp at or below 32c
It could be poor circulation causing your mum to "feel cold" when it`s not cold.
