cervical cancer jab
10 Answers
im eighteen and was recently offered the cervirax immunisation programme, i went through with it and had my first dose of the injection approximately seven weeks ago. For the past couple of weeks i have had discomfort in my lower abdomen and a vague feeling of nausea. i am now not sure whether or not to continue the course and whether these sensations are possible side effects to the injection?

It is but there are a number of strains
The Cervarix vacinne here in the UK just protects against the high risk cervical cancer strains
The Guardasil one being used in the US and a lot of Europe protects against Genital warts too.
Because Cervarix is cheaper it was chosen here on the basis that more people could receive the innoculation and that genital warts are not life threatening.
But additionally if you read the trial data there are a few small oddities
