Cycling and Running training
1 Answers
I am a 51 yr old male who has been running for 25 yrs just to keep fit. In my teen years i did a lot of cycling and really enjoyed it, but Coe and Ovett at the Moscow Olympics got me hooked on running. I would now like to do more cycling but still keep running also. Has anyone any advice as to a training schedule involving both? I was thinkin of only 2 running sessions per week, not more than half n hour.

I've just taken up cycling again after not been on one for over 15 years and I love it. I'm not sure I can advise on a training schedule - I guess it depends on what you want from it. If you are only exercising to keep fit and healthy then just do as much as your body lets you - you will know when you have over done it - as you will know from 25 years of running!
Good luck!
