My medicine was recently adjusted ( I am type 2) and I am now getting excellent blood sugar readings, but have several times been woken up with very low readings during the night. I try to eat a supper before bed. Any tips please?

No, hypos is short for hypoglaecimic - when the blood in the sugar falls low.
Take a sweet or sugar lump with you to bed each night just in case.
Mr M is a type 2 insulin dependant diabetic, he always has a bowl of cereal before going to bed, he also keeps a small bottle of Lucozade on his bedside table just in case. Hope this helps.
Hello masma hope You are feeling better now. lol

We all have different metabulisms so whats good for one may not be for another, your hubby is an individual who should learn what his own body wants & needs, don't read books or listen to others.Tell him to listen to his own body and learn from experience. I did.

Sorry lyn, got a bit muddled there but you know what I mean. lol
Sorry to but in lyn but needed to reply to jemisa - I thought about going onto chatterbank but didn't know if i'd be welcome. Things here are much the same but thanks to the Answerbank replys to me I had a second thought - don't know how long it'll last as I feel so low. The only thing that keeps me going is the fact that there are folk a lot worse off than me.
Once again jemisa - sorry for interupting your post and hope you are well xx
Oh Lordy - sorry Lyn I should have been apologising to you not Jemisa, my brain is in such a muddle these days.
masma, you sound much better to me and I'm glad, you were on my mind a lot that day.
lyn, Sorry for invading your space I hope you found something to help you in all the reply's. Keep well. lol
