What are quick and easier ways to improve my fitness?

I am 5'8" and weigh about 130lbs. I have always been about 115-120 lbs, until the last 8 months. I am a full-time student and work every weekend, making it hard to go to the gym. Once I have recognized my weight gain, it seems that I am MORE temted to snacking. What can I do to lose a little of that weight? And how can I stop snacking without feeling like im starving?!
