my partner has noticed that he has a small lump on his right *** but is refusing to go and get it checked out as he is saying that because he can only feel it when he is lying down and not standing up, it cant be anything serious. Is there is a chance that it could be anything else other than cancer, im in a bit of a panic :(

Get it checked...it could be a variscocele, a collection of blood vessel around the teste but he must get it checked as soon as possible. Catch it quick he will be fine leave it and he risks secondary cancers, really simple get it checked.
It is a cancer until prove otherwise.
there are options but he's not going to find out until he gets it checked properly.

and waiting is foolish..
makes no difference, lying down or standing up, he needs to get it checked. my husband has had 3 lumps removed from this area, all have proved harmless but we didn't know that for sure until they were removed and tested. keep panicing until he's been to see the doctor and been told they're fine :(
Tell him to get it checked, otherwise he could lose em.
if that doesn't shift him, nothing will.

hes being stubborn and is saying hes going to wait a couple of weeks so IM goingto make him a appointment today, we wont even let me look and touch it because he says its painfull. Dont get me wrong i love him to death but he can be a right twit sometimes :)
Love him to death???? Pardon the pun...
Look........this is the situation.

Is it in the *** or not?

In the *** then it could be malignant ( cancer)
Not in the ***, then it could be a varicocele ( no big deal) or an epididymal cyst( No big deal)

How can you tell if it is in the testis or not?...YOU can't but a Dr. can.

They are the facts, .....good luck

My guess....for what it is worth?.......Epididymal Cyst.
Hi lotsafun,

Make that appointment today and get him seen as quickly as possible. If it's painful now, it's not going to get better by singing to it, is it?...........see a professional NOW!
Best of luck.

What is it with AB....T.E.S.T.I.S.........is a a medical term....why blank it out ED?
Its better to be embarrased for five minutes than to leave it until its too late, they have seen it all before.......it has to be checked out and now.
