I'm really nervous about making an appointment and going to the doctors as i have never had to go on my own before but i don't want anyone else to know i am going. I just keep thinking the problem will go away on its own so keep putting it off, but have had the problem for quite a few months now and am ready for it to be sorted out hopefully!
Any tips for this please or anyone else have the same problem?

thanks

Never visit a Doctor whose Office Plants have died ! Bad sign ;-)
How do we know if we've had the same problem if we don't know what the problem is... I think my tip is be a little more lucid when talking to your quack! ;0)
Try taking Bachs rescue remedy in the lead up to the appointment I do this for dental check ups and do remember that doctors are never shocked by any problem they encounter.
if your problem is reluctance to give out details... well, I'd prefer not to answer this one actually.
jno...read her post.....her problem is nervous about seeing the doctor...that is clear.

She does not want advice on her medical condition and is not "reluctant" to give out her details"
You're just going to have to bite the bullet and make an appointment. I hate going to the doctors but sometimes I have no choice.
I don't think so, Sqad, it sounds as if 'the problem' is what she wants to talk to the doctor about, rather than just going; but I could have read it wrong. If it is just nervousness about walking through a surgery door, then mamyalynne's advice is good.
jno....maybe.
totally agree with squad. leapers 'problem' that she's asking for advice about here is her fear of going to the doctors, and when she asks does anyone else have the same problem, that's what she's referring to. quite simple and unambiguous.
Leapers, please do be assured that whatever your problem is, don't be embarrassed at sharing it with your GP- the doctor is used to people not wanting to share things which are worrying them. You just have to be honest and come out with it - you might not want to say whatever it is, but the doctors have seen it all. If you are afraid that it is something bad then don't wait any longer, the longer you put it off then you might be harming yourself, or preventing yourself getting some treatment. If you are really stuck about talking about it, then write it down and hand the note to the doctor when you go into his room - you might find that a bit easier to tell him/her what you are worried about, if he reads it rather than you speaking about it.
Hi, All I can say is that make an appointment only those who are certified or license doctor..Anyone who can't gave their doctor license or any qualifications documents are not good to be with...I have someone to recommend you..just contact him through this link..
