Thanks both for replying, I looked at the website; it was very interesting. I have never smoked but I have inhaled everyone else's smoke. I have tried nearly all of those remedies that are mentioned. I could see why someone would keep smoking if they didn't have to deal with sores. Their description of pain, misery, crabiness, I can relate to. I have had these since I was 7 y.o. As I mentioned they usually appear after flu, cold, sinus problems. I think they may be an autoimmune problem. I think I will go swish with salt water. I think dry mouth also exaberates the problem.
