Can you definately get pregnant from frozen sperm?? Does it depend on how long its frozen for? Are there risks of babies being ill from doing it this way?

I know a woman who after producing 8 embryos after IVF treatment had 3 frozen which were inserted into her womb 2 years later. She had twins the first birth then another baby at the second. It seems so strange that the 3 kids are in fact triplets as conceived at the same time but 1 was born two years later!
So to answer your question; if frozen embryos produce healthy babies I can't see why frozen sperm can't.

success rates are dependant upon many factors, there are no ‘definites’.
sperm can be frozen indefinitely. there have been normal pregnancies from sperm stored frozen for 12 years. the efficacy of the freezing is questionable when it has been frozen for more than 12 years. each individual's sperm reacts differently to the freezing process.
there is absolutely no indication that insemination with thawed sperm increases the likelihood of having an abnormal or unhealthy child.
