acid reflux

hi i suffer from acid refux now for a few years but since ive had my 5 month old son ive constently my thriat feels swollen inside it never goes away i have to take lorazapam to calm it down some days its that bad plus i have a sore throat does anyone else have this

My Husband used to suffer from very bad acid relux, to the point where he felt ill all the time and couldn't sleep. He had a fundoplication operation which completely cured it immediately.
Have you been to your gp? Are you on any medication for it apart from lorazepam (which seems an unusual first line treatment to me)

Your GP will give you Pantoprezole - or the equivalent brand name. one tiny tablet morning and night will sort out your problem.

did your husband have the same symptoms im on lansoprazole the lorazapam is usually used for my anxiety but the feeling i get in my throat it relieves that got camera on the22nd of this month again really worried i am

triciareed.....the treatment that you are getting from your GP is the standard treatment of GERD.

The "camera" will exclude the unlikely occurrence of something unusual.
