Hi Squad, a couple of months ago I broke my little toe and had them tapped together. Its got to be over 6 weeks now and although the toe is not to bad, now and then my foot still seems slightly swollen, although I must admit it goes down after resting the foot up. The only problem is sometimes whilst walking, it feels like I have marble inbetween the 2 last toes and that is uncomfortable. Do you think I should go back to the doctors for an x-ray on my foot? I had no x-ray when I first went to the hospital, the doctor knew just by looking at the toe that it was broken. Or should I strapped the toes together again. I'm just thinking about the long term effects, I'm not getting any younger lol. Many Thanks

Eastender....6 weeks is nothing. I cannot remember whether or not your fracture was displaced or not, but I certainly would not re tape them. Take Ibuprofen 600mgms for the pain.
If the pain persists for another month or so, then do return to A@E.
