wow joggerjayne, i started running a couple of years ago, wearing decathlons 9.99 running shoes, they werent very good, so i splashed out on a 40 euro pair, a bit better, then one day bumped into an old mate, who just by chance had bought a pair of running shoes. so i asked him where he got them and the price. 120 euros, i said what??!!! but after a long lecture, i was convinced enough to visit this shop called running house in madrid. what the owner did was ask me to jog gently along a marked part of the shop, he in turn was recording this on his pc, he ended up selling me a pair of Saucony running shoes. i was quite surprised at the difference they made. anyway i noticed the soles are looking worn out, plus i´ve been experiencing pain in my left ankle. wonder if this is a coincidence, i had been walking about 8 miles every day for about 6 months
