Hi- I am thirsty and I ache (especially back and legs), I feel cold but my head is hot. Is it a cold coming or have I knackered myself out this week (school run, etc - it's no fun pushing twins up and down a hill three times a day)?

Well if your kancker yourself out I think you're more susceptible to coming down with nasties.

Saying that...I've been poorly (ish) all week. I've just got a cough and sore throat. It's wearing me out because I'm not sleeping very well. OH has a cold.
There's a fluey bug about sherrard, run out and get a pack of Beechams All in One in the morning, they are brill.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well - I think I might just have overdone it (must get the little ones walking - but they are soooo slow and one of them pulls the heads of all the flowers we pass).

Thanks Boxtops - I'll get the husband on to it (got playgroup in the morning - well, it's more gossiping, eating biscuits and leaving the kids to their own devices really - never too poorly for that!).
I don't actually feel too bad to be honest. I just really hurts when I cough.

Will you get a chance of a lie in this weekend? A beechams wouldn't do any harm...

Hi Ummmm - the littlest ones are wrecked so with a bit of luck they'll sleep in (we have been known to have to wake them up long after 9 o'clock).
That might be what you need. Or get hubby to get up with them...then get him to make you breakfast and clean the house. I bet that'll make you feel better :-)
Nothing like a nice long rest to make you feel lively an 'up' Sherrard. Hope you get the time for resting a bit.

Hi Society (like how that works!) - it's not usually so manic - it's just the middle one has started school and is only doing half days so we are in and out of the house like nutters. One more week of this then I'll have ALL day to twiddle my thumbs.
I remember the days...
omg i know how you feel.......................relentless, keep going gal, there is no other option xxxx thinking of you

Hi Lushlar - I think it is pushing the twins up and down the hill that has done me in (they are 2 1/2 so they are quite heavy and I am quite little). Between them all I have been really lucky as they are no trouble - must be that I am getting too old for the physical side of having 5 young children.
you are doing a grand job, but u cant go sick, the only downside, wish i could help you heave em up the hill, where do you live ?!!! If only you were on my school route xx

Yeah - but you don't like the school run so that wouldn't work too well, but thanks for the offer!
good dectective work!
