If someone is on Blood Pressure Tablets would class them as having a heart problem ?

I am on bp tablets 20mg daily, but my heart rythams show normal, these are taken to prevent the heart having problems at a later date Prevention is better than cure

Untreated hypertension may lead to heart problems.
Heart problems may be due to hypertension.

But you can have and commonly have, hypertension with a normal heart.

den, my gp put me on ramipril specifically to protect my heart.

I`ve also been on Ramipril for several years for the old ticker, but I have a `dicky` one anyway.
