do you sweat more if you are fit or unfit, I ask because some people I see at the gym are sweating a lot and some hardly at all, and yet they seem to be working just as hard

I don't know the answer to this but know that the body "learns" to sweat and once it has learnt, it will get better at it. I spent years in un air conditioned ships in the Gulf and the tropics and I can perspire for England...being at that time of life doesn't help. Oddly if I am working, I may not perspire too much but I do if its hot regardless of my activity level

thats interesting woofgang thanks
People all sweat differently, I sweat buckets. It's also easy to look as though you're working hard but actually not doing much!!
Up to a point, fit people get more sweaty, because they can work hard enough to break into a sweat.

Unfit people give up before they get sweaty.

Possibly the difference is ... fit people smile when they sweat ... they LOVE it !!
Don't ladies "glow"?
Horses sweat, men perspire and ladies glow. Couldn't remember the line^^^
LOL

When I get back from a run, covered in mud, soaked from running in the shallows, my hair stuck to me with sweat, and big wet patches on my tee shirt ...

... it would be nice to think that I was just "glowing" !!
I'd pay good cash money to see you glowing in that wet T-shirt
LOL

Perv !

("perv" in a nice way, of course)
Incidentally, if Diesel pumps have a DERV sign ...

... shouldn't Petrol pumps have a PERV sign ?
