If these are not treated - what would be the long-term medical consequences? They can survive years & years, and are not always visible or obvious. Could worms, of whatever sort, if not treated, lead to a serious medical condition?

I must admit, I've been quieter on here than normal these last few weeks, this is one of the reasons.... the other is that 'The Legend Who Is Uncle Maurice' has just been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. He's been given only a few months. He;s having hallucinations about when he was in the Korean War. All very sad. But he's almost 80 and has had a damn good life, it's really my daughter who's been in my thoughts.

I will let you know, hopefully Thursday, what Professor Sewell says. Keep them crossed for me duckbod xxx

I've only just realised, after 22 posts, that I actually put Woms instead of Worms.....!!
