Hi Sqad. My mum has high blood pressure and is on Bendroflumethiazide 2.5mg and Ramipril 7.5mg. She has a bad back and is taking paracetamol but would prefer to take ibuprofen for it`s anti-inflammatory properties. She seems to remember a GP saying something about not being able to take ibuprofen because it raises blood pressure. Does it?

It`s not radiating anywhere. She usually uses a walking stick in her right hand but says it`s less painful to rest on the walking stick with her left hand. I must admit, she has been sitting about a lot due to the prolonged holiday (she likes to try to keep active) so that might have done it. She had breast cancer (stage 2b) and I always worry a bit when she gets an ache somewhere for obvious reasons.
