continuous headaches
8 Answers
Between c5 and c6 i have a degenerative disc (stiff neck). My muscles are tight on the left of my neck and shoulder. I have been refered for a (facet injection). Ive had massages, physio, accupuncture and nsaids. The problem is my headaches have become continous everyday. Im not sure if they are because of my dodgy disc. My skull feels like its too tight! I started uni 2 weeks ago(which i love) and find it hard to sit still during lectures. If i go back to my gp he will think i am a hypochondriac. I just need reassurance. Anyone have similar experiences. My head is busting right now! julie

Couple years ago they went to seem many doctors and specialist and they all believe it might be MS. They wanted to run a test on the spinal fluid or something like that; to be sure it's MS. The person refused to have the test done, said they'd rather die than have those test.
If I remember correctly you have problems elsewhere....wrists, base of spine ect?
The headaches could well be from C5 and C6 and the injections should soon give the answer. The other thing that comes to mind, maybe in association with the disc problem, is whether the headache has a psychosomatic component e.g Anxiety state or a depressive element.
