NHS dentist

How come I get a dental placement in a town an hour away from where I live whilst my husband gets his at a local dentist (same company) in our home town when he works in the town I have to go to? Do you think they would look favourably on us asking to swap?

when you say placement do you mean a work placement? If you mean an nHS dentist, you can go to whatever one you like as long as they are taking on new oatients
