Drink loads of water. Also Cranberry juice is meant to be good.

Canesten Oasis apparently, it's the best thing you can buy over the counter for Cystitis

Ooh, I've got some cranberry juice, good idea. I've just been to Boots, they've flogged me some sachets of stuff, just had the first one. (I should have waited, mercia, they sold me something else.)

old treatment, posassium citrate.. evil to drink, but it worked better than the things on the market now.

Go to your Walk in Centre OR
Contact your on call GP.

Sqad - I have consulted my pharmacist. I've had it before some years ago, post op. Thank you for the concern, but I know what I've got. Our surgeries don't open on Saturday and the nearest WIC is some miles away....

actually anne, you are spot on. Potassium citrate 3g, and other stuff including cranberry extract.

It tastes disgusting.

I had several bouts of cystitis a number of years ago...ALWAYS took cranberry juice,and it always worked.
Make sure it's juice...NOT drink. Ocean-spray is the best.

Hot water bottle , paracetamol , cranberry juice and lots and lots of water.

Do sympathise. It's awful. If men got it there would be a cure by now.
