genital herpes
1 Answers
i caught genital herpes off my EX husband several years ago, the first outbreak of it was excrutiatingly painful and i thank god that ive not had another outbreak as bad as that one since, however im still to this day getting outbreaks albeit not as severe, is this normal???? Also i was told by the wellwomen clinic when i was tested for the virus that i should refrain from sexual contact with any partners if i did have another outbreak as i will pass it on etc. Ive only had 1 partner since my ex and have been with him for nearly 6 years now, and despite not having contact when i am contagious ive passed it on to him as he is now suffering with a bout of it. Are there any treatments we can take ?

It must have been something to do with her menstrual cycle. Apparently the first outbreak is always the worst and they lessen in severity. You can get anti-virals for herpes. Acyclovir is one I think. There used to be a charity funded herpes helpline in the UK. I don`t know if it still exists but they would be the experts. It might be a good idea to Google and see if they still exist.
