I have just started a new pilates class & for two days after my ribs hurt... is this a good thing coz I've been working my muscles?  & should I ditch the other class where I feel nothing at all the next day?

Thanks x

DEFINITELY stick with it!  The first time I did yoga I hurt all over!!  I was using muscles I didn't even know I had!  LOL!  After a day or two I was fine and each subsequent class got easier.  However, if I miss more than a week I am back to being sore.  If you enjoy it definitely stick to it but do not overexert yourself; do what you can to the best of your limit.  Have fun!

But should I ditch the class where I feel nothing at all? Surely it's not doing anything if I can't feel it??

I would ask the instructor.  It is possible that you are not exerting yourself enough and that that class is too easy for you.  You definitely want to work yourself a bit but not go either way that you are exhuasted or feel nothing at all.
