How do you know and feel when you are besotted by a person? I think its when you found someone you have always been looking for, every single thing that turns you on. Is it possible to be besotted with one person in your life time. I feel it would be one person.

Any opinions

I agree with you, to find that one person youve been looking for... speechless... and I do believe that there is just one person, who needs two or three... to be with that one person who you know better then anyone, and he knows you...like one person split into...

Well, I'd be a bit more cautious than that, having been around the block a bit in my 44 years! I agree that there's nothing like the heady feeling of being in love, with your every thought interrupted by thoughts of the loved one - it's great! I'm in love myself, and it's still great!

I hope s/he is everything you've always looked for, keys, I really do, but I know nothing of your life so far.

Not pouring cold water on it at all, but stay true to yourself. If this partner really is The One, s/he will allow for things you want to do with your life. I'm sure your relationship's just fine, and I feel a bit mean pointing out one or two possibilities to you. They could be real, though.

Run at the first sign of any control-freakery - I mean it! Trying to talk you out of an education course or career track that'll take you away for a while is a dead giveaway. If they can't wait while you fulfil your potential, then they aren't interested long-term. Fact.

Don't look at this (especially if you're young) as necessarily the love of your life. See what your friends & family make of him/her. They aren't always right, but sometimes, if they know you well, they see thing that maybe you don't. Apart from all that - enjoy!

I think being besotted is a different thing from being in love.  You can be infatuated with someone and that's not the same thing as love.  I'm pretty infatuated with someone right now but I know I'm not in love with them, I don't know them well enough, and I know from experience that love develops over time.
I agree with nicola_red ... there is a difference between being besotted with someone and being in love/loving someone. I thought I was in love with someone who I had an affair with (I know, shame on me) and then I met my now husband and I realised that the person I thought I was in love with I was just actually infatuated with - they gave me the security and attention I needed at the time as I was feeling very low and they got me out of it. It definitely wasn't love though as I love my husband and its an entirely different feeling.

thanks

wot do you think is the strongest word/s you can say to your lover. Like 'you are the love of my life' things like that.

In 1987 a certain woman told me she would love me as long as she had a hole in her arse. She must be pretty bunged up by now.
