with some docotors. My daughter has been to her doctors several times during the last 3 weeks with headaches, she normally doesn't suffer from them. The doctor said first it was stress, second time it was result of a bout of tonsillitis, then finally blocked sinus. Today she went for an eye test as she thought the headaches may be due to her job as a solicitor and having to spend a lot of time on the computer. Well she was sent straight to hospital, she's been admitted and awaiting a scan, she has a swelling behind her eye. I feel mad about this, thank goodness the optitian was more qualified than her doctor.

I never mentioned a brain tumour, it could be anything, don't think anyone else has, you are the only one.
Then I stand corrected.

It's a relief I can tell ya, been worried sick all weekend. She is seeing the eye man now and probably antibiotics will sort it out.
Thats a relief, Puss - so glad its all o.k.
Carakeel lost her Son from a brain tumour, it started as a swelling behind the eye, not diagnosed by the GP, she was told his headaches were caused by stress, he was 21. By the time the tumour was diagnosed it was too late.

So glad to hear its all ok Puss. :-)

Only just read this thread, pussnboots. Sooo glad your daughter is going to be OK! When I first read your post and hadn't yet read the outcome, I really got worried for you. I never want anyone to have to go through what we went through with my darling boy. Hugs to you, you must be sooo relieved!! xxx
carakeel. would i be correct in thinking kevin ?
Yes anneasquith, you would. How lovely that you remembered his name. That is really so nice! Hugs xxx
i remember the site you posted, and i cried :(
Puss I did not want to read to the end of this but glad I did. I am so pleased for you. Aged 10 my nephew complained of headaches, doc said growing pains, next week it was migraine, sis not happy, asked to see a specialist. Nephew was then rushed into hospital and found to have a tumour the size of a plum on his brain. Tragically he died 5 years later when the tumour returned, He would have been 21 next week.
Lots of hugs for puss, and for carakeel, tonight ((♥))
That is such good news Puss, you must all be relieved.....its exhausting waiting and hoping...thank goodness.... :)
