Back Pain
11 Answers
I have woken up this morning with very bad pains in my upper back, around the shoulder blade area, especially on the right, my right shoulder is also painful and sudden movements cause a sharp pain across my upper back, even just turning my head to the side (particarly to the left) causes it to ache more. I've taken some paracetamol as we don't have any ibuprofen in the house but is there anything else I can do to relieve the pain? TIA

Also it might be worth just paying a one of fee (about £30) to see a chiropractor if this is a regular thing as he'll then be able to show you some stretching exercises to help prevent the pain in the first place. You can also use heat patches or a hot water bottle to help ease the pain too. And lastly how old is your bed? It's well worth investing in a good one, i've really noticed the difference since i have.
