My sis is prescribed Oromorph which she takes as and when required. The last 3 times she has taken a 5ml dose (each dose was taken over week apart) she has developed a terrible all- over body itch which lasts for about 4 days. Does this sound like she has developed an allergy to it?
She used to take Tramadol but developed an allergy to that after a few months (repeated vomitting and a rash).
She cant get a GP appointment til next week.
Can you suggest another strong painkiller she can ask for? (She's had pethidine before now but it doesn;t touch the pain).

What is the nature of her underlying medical condition that requires Oromorph?
