I'm 25 and people always think I'm younger then that when i ask how old do they think i am they always guess 17 anyhow i was wondering what are some things i can do or take to keep myself staying young looking in the future
Even people who haven't smoked or drank can look aged. Its as they say in the genes, moderation in all things, and you shouldn't go far wrong, no one can stop the ageing process. And don't head for the botox, or face lifts, that makes people look like they have been caught in a wind tunnel
I agree em, however it is a fact that smoking and drinking alcohol can promote ageing. so keeping both habits to a bare minimum would be beneficial whether you are genetically blessed or not.
Yoga is good, for mind, body and spirit, a relative has done it for many years, and though elderly is very supple, and still with faculties intact, well most...
As it was said earlier, genetics have a lot to do with the way you look, Also a little moderation in everything should help, Protect your skin while sunbathing or working outside. Otherwise keep a youthful outlook on life don't sit indoors and mope get out into the fresh air, drink plenty of water and eat healthily. Pilates and Yoga are good exercise for inner core strength.
Love the way you all knock smoking..............despite smoking and drinking I do not resemble a wrinkly prune, and when I went for a minor op in my 50's the doctor complimented me on my skin!
Craft I smoked for 50 years and I'm not half as bad as some of the women my age who haven't. I tried to do without glasses for ages for reading and was starting to develop frown lines. So I wear them now for reading.
A diet of mostly fruit!! Keeps your skin naturally hydrated, and its full of fruit acids which are great for a clear complexion and helps keeps it supple, works for me, I often get told i look 10-15 years younger than I actually am. :) From a very young age I have always eaten fresh fruit every single day - it does help if you life fruit though.
Get yourself frozen in hypersleep in one of the cryotubes like in the Alien films. Your bodily ageing processes slow down to 1% of the normal rates then. Watch out for nasty Alien facehuggers though, they would not help your health very much.
Don't smoke Annie - You can always spot a female smoker, they will have sallow colour skin and lines. Use a good moisturiser and don't overdo the suntanning. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. It is also genetics, if you come from a family with good skin, then its usually passed on.
Cryogenic suspension. The only drawback is that you have to die first and chance it that they will have the technology to bring you back sometime in the future.
Stay out of the sun. If you do sunbath (and who doesnt?!) then always wear a high factor and wear a hat. Do not smoke, as it causes wrinkles around the mouth. Drink plenty of water as this will make sure your body stays detoxified and hydrated. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg and make sure you exercise. I wouldn't bother with fancy face creams and potions, just eat the best you can and stay healthy. Also keep make-up to a minimum.
