Hello Sqad and everyone

Just thought I'd update you, if you're still interested...!

I've now had the all-clear from any type of haemophilia (they sent letters to my GP but not me, only found out when I asked the B12 nurse) (still on the B12 injections) and have an appointment at CRH gynae on 4 July to arrange the hysterectomy.

Anyway, my question is - I bleed for 10-14 day out of 28, the rest of the days I have a red/brown discharge (sorry!) but I never seem to get back to having a clear discharge like I used to. Does anyone know why? Could the ablation be responsible? I know it's not important, but I just wondered...

TIA x

Your abnormal bleeding is almost certainly due to your past endometrial ablation and I am glad that the blood problem has come to a satisfying conclusion.

Difficult problem for you and your Gynaecologist as it seems that hysterectomy is on the cards but timing is of the essence here.

Hi Sqad - just looking at this again, do you just mean that the op will sort the problem out, or is there some relevance as to when I have the op?

Thanks
Halifaxmum.....no....now we know that you bleed normally (clotting factors ect), the green light has been given for you operation.

Good luck.
