Titular bishop of imaginary see. sounds daft, but would look great on your CV.

Without the papacy, you don't have priests! It's the papacy, the fullness of the priesthood, that alone confers the apostolic succession and 'royal priesthood'.

Strangely, 'cardinal' is an admin job. You don't even need to be a priest! Or a man!

I'm not a catholic, by the way.
