dream of someone passed away

another vivid dream of my partner, it was clear as anything
though it faded as i woke, not the first time, where he had
gone off with someone, the woman didn't want me any where near
was jealous of me finding him, which i did, but in the dream seemed to take
forever, but there he was, even putting this seems so strange, it was
so involved, a complicated dream, last time i dreamt something similar
was months ago, and i felt bereaved all over again as the dream faded

I have had a couple of dreams in the last 10 days of Sylvia, em10. Both seemed very surreal where she was running towards me in a field of golden corn with her arms wide open as if to catch me. Both ended with a kiss at which point I woke up but could taste her lipstick on my lips. I'm hoping that is a sign that she is happy where she is now

Dreams are sometinmes your brain trying to come to terms with the loss even though on a conscious level you may feel you are getting there ..
a more supernaturally inclined suggestion is if they reject you in the dream they are pushing you to move on,(or your brain has worked this out for you) if you go to them in the dream its because there is unfinished business usually something unsaid that you may say in your dream

If they come to you, sometimes it is a message that all is well... if they say goodbye in the dream then it is a message not to tie them to the earth with grief but to let them go with love and kindness.
Not saying I believe it but have often dreamed of dead friends and relatives usually when i would have valued their input into a problem I have been facing just seeing their image is often enough for me to think now what would XXXx have done/said. Not sure if any of my departeds would be much help at the moment though... Maybe there is just a bit of wish fulfillment....the Searching phase of grief when we see them in the faces of strangers...or catch a suggestion of their smell...

The one before was awful, i haven't forgotten it, and it was so very real, he scorned me, pushing me aside saying that he had never loved me and that he was in love with someone else, i woke up crying. Even thinking about it makes me upset.

em10, I sometimes have vivid dreams that my mother and me are arguing bitterly and yes its very upsetting but usually wears off as the day goes on. I had a very happy childhood so lorld knows why I have these dreams. I believe our loved ones come to us in dreams btw.
