I also have the 42 Lake Ave, Ext #181, Danbury, Ct 06811 address. I mailed my check into them on 6/28/02 and noticed on my bank statement that the check cleared on 7/22/02. I still have not received the pills and I don't know where to go from here. I suppose that's what I get for wanting an easy way to be slim again.

well just a few days ago i recived a flyer in the mail and i thought it was interinsting but one thing it did not list anything in the pills nor did it give phone number or web address.. With everything today has to offer i found that to be very odd.. So i started doing searches on the internet inwhich none of them could give me any information about them and most of them never registered any info on them the return address on my mail that i recived from Equiba is Equiba 1333A North Anenue,#331 New Rochelle, Ny 10804-2120... I hope this information will help anyone....

I sent for some of these wonder pills in early May, and received them in about 3 weeks. They're absolutely useless, I put on 2lb in weight over the specified time. They made no difference whatsoever to how I felt. I've now written twice asking for a refund as per the terms of their offer (the UK version with the Bedford address). No joy after letters sent on 20th June and 20th July. Can I really claim my money back from my credit card company? I've also sent for a similar product called HTP5 from another organisation called The Francois Leroy Slimming Centre and, surprise surpirse, the return address on the package is identical - FRA 80452, P O Box 80457, Great Britain EC50 3FR. Anyone able to track that down and nobble the thieving swindlers who are conning innocent people hoping to lose a bit of weight? I too am being bombarded with junk mail about foreign lotteries, offers promising fabulous wins with lucky numbers (at a fee of course), claims of wondrous prizes awaiting despatch on receipt of a handling fee, etc.etc. I've not fallen for them but didn't realise that the slimming stuff was all part and parcel of the same scam, as last year I sent for some similar type of slimming product, which of course failed to do any good at all, and when I wrote demanding my money back I got it! I found you by doing a search for "equiba". Has anyone achieved a refund?

I recieved the mailer today, the address is 1333A North Avenue #331 New Rochelle, NY 10804-2120. I almost sent out for a bottle but had a feeling I should try to check it out first, and I'm SOOOOO glad I did. There is a small Scientific Analysis Report on the inside top corner that says they did a study of 100 people and they all lost weight and did not gain it back in the next few months. It is from Professor Martinez, Director of the Center for Expert Inspection and Analysis (C.E.I.A.), and is to Dr. Paul Gential, Equiba Laboratories, dated October 20, 2000. I'm sure this is fake, I'm not really good with computers, we just got our first one a few months ago, I thaught maybe someone who knows what they are doing might be able to check it out.

thanks everyone for the info-- i knew it probably was to good to be true, but i was sure about the money back guarentee (which i have received on other to good to be diets before) so i figured to take the plunge. i am glad i read these before putting it in the mail box. obviously people aren't getting their product or their money back. i received info from the sacremento, PA address like others. obviously they are going all over the place. this stuff is probably dangerous too. we might be better off a little over weight than taking some drugs we know nothing about. face it people if we want to be thin, we will have to do it the old fashion way (for now until science really does someday make the real WONDER drug). thanks again from the USA

I got a cheque for �25 refund from Equiba in the UK. They sent me a letter saying they were sorry I was not satisfied with their product. Atally I wrote to them to say that it wasn't working and maybe I hadn't been doing it for long enough and can they send me more! Happy with the refund and am now waiting for my consignment of patches from a company called Slim Steady

o.k. great... looks like i've gotten tricked too. i have 2 addresses for you though. the first is "Fulfillment Center, EQUIBA, 42 Lake Ave. EXT. #181, Danbury, CT 06811"(which we knew about). but they also sent me this other flyer (after i already sent for one order) about this new kind of equiba formula that will make you loose weight 1.67 times faster than the original... they want you send the order and payment to "295 Princeton-Hightstown Rd., Suite 11-337, West Windsor, NJ 08550-3123. " i don't think that i saw this second address on any other posts... i am going to send for my refund tomarrow... i'll keep you posted. if i don't get the refund i am out about $50. i wish i would have found this website before i ordered. i feel like such a sucker!

Today I received the Dutch flyer for these pills and although I would love to lose weight I looked for information on the Internet first and found your question. The address was the same as the institute I had ordered a slimming product from a few months ago, with promises to refund etc etc, and of course it wasn't weight I lost but a lot of money. I received a letter from EQUIBA 1333A North Avenue, #331 New Rochelle,NY 10804-2120 I have a very similar flyer with a woman in glasses in a hot-pink & black triangle bikini. The flyer says that you will lose 24 pounds with just one tablet a day-that's it. On the back is a Dr. Paul Gentil is Answering your questions....bla bla bla. With a stretched out picture of a woman before and after---doesn't even look similar at all! I looked up this name Equba--because for one they did not have a 1-800 number or a web site listed, instead I found you--and to top it off you have to purchase a stamp to mail it off. Services as these..have a postage paid envelope. I through away plenty of stuff like this such as the winning checks and weight loss patches--and this caught my attention acourse-just as it did to you! I have to give it to these sorry people! Ok, I too got the same flier as you all. And we had filled out the order form, but luckily, my husband is slow to remember his "mailing" tasks! I found this site, and thanks to all of you, saved us money! I am soo angry that people can get away with this. It is obviously a scam.I am tired of being overweight, but we need all the money we have! What's more important? I want you all to know that I am emailing others that can look into this. They may not go anywhere with it, but at least somebody was notified! Please, if you have time, call your Better Business Bureau and report these fliers so these companies can be stopped! Hello from Holland. I have just recieved the mailing. On the envelop is a adress from Breda and a fax number from Belgium. Very wierd?!?! My boyfriend was searching on the internet and found this site. I'm glad i have read this, because now i don't have to spent a lot of money, for something that not is working. He also find the flyers on the internet. The same one with only a Englisch writing on it. The pictures where excatlly the same. My advise, go tho a sportschool, and go by bike to work. Don't order this product.

Equiba is a perfect candidate to report to the u.s. federal trade comission. i have. besides braking the promiss to lose 1 lb/day, inconditional return is not possible too - no real address of the co. they have only payment processing facilities. pls post your complaint on https://rn.ftc.gov/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=
