Every mornig for the past week I have woken up with pins and needles in both my thumbs and the first two fingers in each hand. What could this be a sign of, anyone know?

Both my hands are dead every morning - it comes from my arthritic neck problem so I am told.
Lofty......Craftypig isn't suffering from "dead hands".......;-)
I know!! I knew that would get a comment from you.

Hi Sqad. Good morning dear.

Crafty pig, Squad is probably right (unfortunately);o) !!
Lofty....marry me.
No

(sorry Crafty)
you haven't just been lying on your arms while asleep?
My Mum got pins and needly hands from neck arthritis....
Difficult to lie on both hands jno.

Actually Woof, If my hands aren't dead then I often get pins and needles in both hands from the neck problem.

It's very difficult if Mr LL brings me a cup of tea in bed (which is rare!!)

Nah, I never sleep on my hands, usually my back, I will check out Squads suggestion.
I often wake up with dead arms - which is a bu99er if the postman is wanting something signed for....
I've done it before now, Lottie! But it doesn't sound like Craftypig does, so scrub that.
Possible trapped nerve.
I get it sometimes but assume it's my sleep position/arthritis. I always lie on my back initially and find it so comfy but don't seem to be able to get to sleep unless I lie on my side so assume my arms/hands get squashed at some point during the night in addition to being immobile. I had a phase of waking up with fingers bent which would take ages to straighten so goodness knows what I was doing in the night (that sounds rude, it's really not meant to!!!)!

Still working on training the cats to bring me a cuppa in bed...not holding out hope on that one though!
