Morton's Neuroma, FAO Sqad
10 Answers
At long last, 9 months, I have been given a date for my op for removal of large neuroma, 23rd August; seems like the letter from my doctor to the hospital has done the trick. Though you may like to know after previous posts about waiting times.

I would still be waiting were it not for the letter from my doctor because the neuroma and osteo-arthritis in the big toe is causing me to walk twisted, and he wrote to the hospital and asked that I be moved up the waiting list - I was 87th on the list and three weeks later had gone to 6th. I can't wait to get it done!
Hi yes i am really pleased with the result. Its a bit of a strange feeling now in my toes but nothing painful. I am now able to wear my normal shoes, or i would be if i didnt have a neuroma in my other foot now !! I did find that my recovery was quite slow but i did have 2 removed from my foot so maybe thats why. The way my foot feels right now i wish had had done it as soon as i started having problems because i did leave it about 6 months before i went to doctors. Will you let me know how you get on please ?
