Does Boots or anybody sell Avon Soft Lotion

Problem with midges down here deep in the Cornish countryside, and I am coming up to 50 bites on my legs.

Do Boots sell the Avon skin Soft lotion referred to by many....I know they sell Jungle Formula?

I think you'd need to get it from Avon DT. Either find a rep near you (ask any businesses where loads of women work) or try online

PS It's the dry oil body spray I use, I haven't tried any others.

I didn't know Avon skin so soft was a midge deterrent. You learn something every day.

That's right - you can only get it from Avon - you can order it direct from Avon - you would just pay the postage . The soft and fresh one is the best one for midgies

What you're thinking of is Skin-So-Soft 'Soft and Fresh' variety. Like all Avon products, it is only available from Avon and come to think of it, I haven't seen it in the catalogue for ages.

If you don't want to use Jungle Formula, look for anything than contains Tea Tree Oil - it's a natural insect repellant.

OH swears by alcohol and fags - he hardly ever gets bitten, dammit, he says the midges don't like the nicotine and alcohol in his blood.

thanks for all of that - got some chrysanthenum oil based insect repellant used by hikers and so far so good today.
